(Note:   TROPHIES;  Many of the trophies to be presented have either been donated by the person named  or have been purchased by the CDA Committee (ie the Fred Shepherd Award).  But all of the persons named have been involved with the CDA in long-term service on the Committee.  There have been many occasions when CDA member societies have - most generously - asked to donate a trophy to the Festival in memory of, or to celebrate a member of, their own group.  The CDA committee has ruled that only those involved in CDA service on its own Committee will be considered for future named trophies.)
