CORNWALL  DRAMA  ASSOCIATION  THEATRE  FESTIVAL 2008

Dinner and Awards

200 members enjoyed a delicious dinner at the Hotel Bristol, followed by the Annual Theatre Festival Awards, presented by Paula Thornton.

This year there was a real sense of occasion, with the lucky winners receiving their awards on the balcony in the dining room.

Twenty-six certificates were presented for the 31productions visited by the Association's team of adjudicators.   Many aspects of production were covered, from props and magical effects, technical presentation, best actors and sets,  to Best Play and Best Musical awards.   Eleven trophies were presented, and celebrations were completed with a lively disco in the ballroom.
