Benefits of membership include:

• Advice and support in recommending tutors and courses.  

• Annual CDA Theatre Festival: Designed to assist groups and improve standards through written adjudications. Trophies and certificates are awarded each year to winners at an awards ceremony.

• The Roy Crosley Award: A financial award of £60 is made annually to a young person of 18 years or under who has shown exceptional promise as an actor in the CDA Theatre Festival.

• Cue Sheet: A quarterly newsletter, which keeps groups in touch with one another, and with countywide theatre news. Notice about members’ productions, course and seminars are included, together with informative articles, letters and views.

• Theatre Day: A social occasion where members can meet for a day of workshops, exhibitions and an exchange of views. Theatre Day concludes with the annual dinner and awards ceremony -SEE ABOVE

• The All England Theatre Festival of One Act Plays: the Stage One heats are organised by the CDA
